    Under Armour’s Internship programs offer current college students the chance to get inside the world’s most dynamic brand in sports.

    Rookies at Under Armour will be key players in helping us further our mission to make athletes better. Students will spend their time in the program making an impact on their team, learning from others through mentoring, networking, and training, and experiencing what it’s like to live in a great city working for a fast-paced, innovative, and growing company.

    What you’ll do as the Footwear Design Rookie:

    • Deliver new and supporting footwear concepts via sketching, rendering and/or 3-D
    • Support the footwear innovation team with presentations, drawings, etc. as needed
    • Create, refine and present an original concept by the end of the summer

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications to be considered:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Fashion, or Apparel
    • Be prepared to submit a portfolio with examples of Footwear Design as requested
    • Support and motivate peers to achieve operational goals as well as personal goals

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Graduating between December 2020- June 2021
    • Previous internship experience and retail experience a plus

    What Under Armour is looking for in a Footwear Design Rookie:

    • High degree of verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively and concisely present information at all levels
    • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, and work as part of a team
    • Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, analyze needs, and offer solutions
    • Demonstrate a passion for the Under Armour brand
    • Attention to detail and an ability to stay well organized

    Additional Skills and Experience:

    • Adobe CS, Sketchbook Pro, Keynote and/or hand sketching is a must
    • Concept ideation, problem solving skills and model making mandatory, 3-D skills nice to have.
    • Positive attitude and a solid work ethic are very important

    • Sample Sale: Rookies design, operate and manage a pop-up Under Armour store at our Baltimore Global Headquarters. For one week, Rookies step out of their day job and come together to work toward a common goal.

    • Social Events: We’re all about the team inside and outside the office. The Rookie Program Sports League and other social events give teammates and Rookies the chance to get to know each other outside the office.
