- Responsibilities
While some of the tasks the intern will face might be routine, the Department will have needs the intern can fill that provide insight into the "nuts and bolts" with tasks that include:
- Assist with the financial statement audit by preparing financial schedules to support the face statements or footnotes
- Update excel workbooks that summarize information such as insurance policies or sponsorship contracts
- Assist with actual vs. budget comparisons
- Assist finance members with developing detailed budgets based upon discussions with various department heads
- Convert trial balance information into management reports
- Perform rollforwards and reconciliations. Rollforwards and reconciliations to include cash, fixed assets, amounts payable to the city of Charlotte, and amounts payable to concert promoters

- MUST BE ENROLLED IN COLLEGE AND ABLE TO RECEIVE CREDIT
- Rigor, attention to detail, and organization are keys to success
- Must display a positive attitude to conform to the casual environment while demonstrating respect for all
- Share our curiosity for the business and our desire to positively influence the business
- Pursuit of a Finance, Accounting, or a related degree is preferred
- Internship is 8 to 12 weeks
