POSITION SUMMARY:

Support general operations of all elite international basketball events.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY:

• Support general operations of all elite international basketball events (such as the NBA Academy Games or Basketball Without Borders camps), either remotely from New York or in-person.

• When traveling, serve as BWB chaperone to help oversee all camp participants and their movements

• Assist with all travel and lodging logistics for elite events

• Support performance staff with data entry and reporting for elite program participants

• Update and track historical information for elite international basketball programs

• Travel to elite events, including but not limited to the NBA Academy Games, Women's BWB Global, BWB Americas, and BWB Africa, and support all on site operations in variety of capacities

• Enter details from scouting reports into Smartabase

• Audit and quality assure elite athlete database

• Update and track historical information (i.e. performance of program alumni) for elite international basketball programs such as BWB and NBA Academies Assist with other projects as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Passion for NBA and a strong understanding of the global basketball landscape

• Demonstrated computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Box, Slack) and ability to learn new computer programs

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines

• Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally

• Ability to work well within a team environment.

EDUCATION:

• Rising Junior or Senior in undergraduate program.
