About TMBO & GSI:The NBA's Team Marketing & Business Operations and Global Strategy & Innovation (TMBO & GSI ) group is a unique two-pronged department advancing the NBA's league and team business.TMBO provides in-house consulting services, shares best practices, and drives innovation across all NBA, WNBA, NBA G League and NBA2K teams. This fast paced and collaborative department's focus is on all aspects of the team business including ticket sales and service, marketing partnerships, and marketing and digital.GSI, the NBA's central strategy group, uses data and insights to shape and execute the NBA's long-term strategy, while instilling a culture of innovation to drive sustainable long-term growth.
This internship position will focus on supporting revenue driving initiatives across our team ticketing, marketing & digital, and partnerships verticals, and next gen products while exercising a high level of professionalism, time management and strategic thinking.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research team best practices and create case studies and other best tools across various content areas (digital partnerships, NFTs, platform development, premium, live game experience, etc.) across all four Leagues
Analyze third-party market research and presenting results in a concise manner
Capstone presentation to highlight key learnings and proposes a business opportunity for TMBO and the Teams.
Provide thought leadership and development of PowerPoint presentations.
