POSITION SUMMARY:
The intern would be a key and crucial part of the WNBA Communications team and would assist in planning and executing the logistics and media pitching around WNBA All-Star and Commissioner's Cup. The intern would be coming up with off-court and lifestyle pitches throughout the internship to promote the players and the season along with developing new relationships for coverage at events. Additionally, the intern should be able to write press releases and media pitches on weekly basis. Being able to multi-task on projects will be key throughout the internship.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Microsoft word, excel, cision, writing skills should be at top of the class along with multi-tasking.
EDUCATION:
Rising Junior or Senior undergaduate student.
