- CompensationHigh commission for textbook buyback: A survey our Spring '15 team indicated, if hours are tracked and divided by commissions paid, the average rep makes $17.59/hr. Our most efficient and successful rep made $30.18/hr. The average payout over finals week was $296 with the top rep making $1,017. $5/on-campus delivery: Get paid $5 for every order you deliver to your fellow students. We set our delivery schedule in 15 minute increments, so this part of the job is $20/hr.

Textbook Valet was founded to revolutionize the way textbooks are bought, rented and sold.
Our student reps buy books at the end of each semester and we guarantee a better price than any local competitor or we'll match their price (which is extremely rare as our algorithm is based on multiple competitors).
At the start of each semester we have our reps hand deliver books to their fellow classmates who have placed orders with us. All orders are delivered within three days. We guarantee a lower price than the bookstore by at least 10% and also guarantee to have used books in stock or provide a new book at no additional cost.
In short, the bad prices and long lines at the bookstore are over when students use Textbook Valet.
