Global Operations Associate for Non-Profit Startup in SF
New Story is effective at building homes and communities because we identify and partner with local nonprofits in the countries we work in.
As Global Operations Associate you'll oversee a network of home-building partners around the world. You'll work closely with New Story's COO to make sure that our projects are being executed at a high level of excellence. You'll help research and vet prospects for global expansion and you'll become best friends with our local partners to make sure that the program objectives are met. You'll use technology and build new systems to make sure our partnerships are models of efficiency and transparency and position our programs to achieve maximum impact today and over time.
What You'll Own:
Manage, coordinate and lead our partner organizations and stay informed of their progress against program objectives. Ability to develop strong relationships, escalate when necessary, and get results.
Contribute to defining the overall partnership strategy.
Find the right community-building partners for New Story globally by researching prospects and conducting due diligence alongside our COO.
Strategize innovative ways to improve outcomes for our beneficiaries, improve our partners, understanding of our requirements, capture stories from the field, gather information on program status, and plan for program expansion.
Develop project governance documents to inform best practices both internally and externally for our international network of partners.
Proactively network with key contacts outside your own area of expertise to research best practices in project management and participate in New Story's continuous improvement cycle.
