At Packlane, we help businesses create beautiful custom packaging and leave a stunning first impression. Now we’re looking for a motivated, energetic student to help spread the word as our Marketing and PR intern.
The perfect candidate is chock full of creative ideas, has a love for design, and is eager to contribute on a large scale. Oh, and you’ll never have to fetch coffee for anyone but yourself.
What You’ll Do
Be the ultimate team player, supporting Packlane’s PR strategy in all its phases
Establish a friendly repertoire with current or prospective clients
Tweet up a storm, be an insta-star, and have a legitimate reason to be on Facebook.
Monitor social groups and forums to better understand our customers, as well as post/respond to relevant topics.
Build and update media lists and databases (It’s fun! We promise)
Pitch creative content to blogs and websites on topics relevant to small businesses
Create press releases that grab readers’ attention from the get-go
Create and curate creative content in the Packlane voice
Perform research and market analysis activities
Be a real part of the team – you’ll contribute to big decisions like marketing campaigns and event activations.
You can Slack, email, and Google hang with the best of ‘em. In other words, you’re comfortable working with a cross-functional virtual team.
A love for design, social media, technology and building big, beautiful brands.
All the write stuff – excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
A passion for getting the word out about great brands and a knowledge of PR best practices.
Scrappiness (we’re a small business so being resourceful comes in handy!)
A college course-load and a quad to call your own – we’re looking for students currently enrolled in a bachelor or masters program.
