Emissary is an innovative high-growth startup that provides a new type of professional service for sales teams.
The position will oversee marketing workflow and support day-to-day department activities.
The responsibilities will scope from strategic and tactical to execution and may include content creation, social media, PR, SEO and SEM, creating marketing collateral, email and marketing automation. The Marketing and Communications Associate will possess the following three essential qualities:
Creative in how they think, write, listen. They bring creative juice to their work, and don’t settle for expected solutions.
Strategic about challenges. This is less about having all of the answers and more about how they approach problems that come up.
Execute and get stuff done: both the high-impact and the mundane.
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee strategic marketing initiatives and day-to-day project implementation.
Strategize on development of all marketing related initiatives and provide analysis, including review of data, to evaluate effectiveness of campaigns.
Liaise across departments to drive optimal lead generation programs by creating content, managing email flows, etc.
Work closely with Community Engagement Manager on driving engagements with our community of advisors.
Monitor and optimize online presence, including websites, social media, etc.
Create new content such as blog posts, infographics and other materials for company website.
Regularly report on marketing performance details by leveraging analytics data.
Copyright/Editing and proofing for all collateral, including ads, direct mail pieces, newsletters, etc.
Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
Technical proficiency in creating communications
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks
Quick learner with demonstrated drive and initiative; self-starter
Superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
1-3 years of marketing related experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Basic design skills and familiarity with design software a plus
Familiarity with marketing automation software platforms a plus
