Shiftsmart, a startup focused on tackling part time worker shift volatility, is currently hiring a campus representative from your campus! Gain priceless hands-on marketing and user acquisition experience while helping launch a shift management platform that aims to change the way the world thinks about shifts and scheduling. You’ll be a part of a team that helps workers find more work, manage that work and ultimately, earn more and live better lives!
Throughout the semester, you will actively work on innovative marketing programs. Together, with insight from other campus reps from around the Bay Area and the Shiftsmart team, you will put together strategic user acquisition and marketing plans and then execute, report on and evaluate each tactic.
You will also have the opportunity to be mentored by and absorb business and technology industry experience from the Shiftsmart team. The team consists of ex-Googlers, former management consultants, Harvard Business school grads and generally relaxed/fun people!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Shiftsmart team to create and execute strategic marketing plans that drive user acquisition sign ups and shifts worked
Complete all work to the best of your ability in a professional and timely manner
Spread the word on campus with promotions, online social networking, postering, flyering, tabling, social group competitions and more!
Help drive traffic to Shiftsmart office hours and community events (and join the events as a Shiftsmart representative)
Summarize, report on, and successfully capture your work (reports, screenshots, and pictures). Keep in regular communication with the Shiftsmart team and other Bay Area campus ambassadors
QUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must be current college students in good standing. Students should have about 6-10 hours a week to dedicate to the program. Applicants should also:
Work well independently and in teams
Knowledge of on demand labor companies such as Uber, Lyft, Postmates, DoorDash, Rinse and Saucey
Be reliable and organized
Have strong analytical and writing skills
Be connected/involved on campus (organization/clubs, sports, Greek life, etc.)
Member/active user of online community websites (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
Smartphone w/t good camera
Outgoing
Connected on campus
Sales skills
Friendly
Tech forward
