We’re looking for an entrepreneurial content creator who can bring WayUp’s video initiatives to the next level. You will own all moving images for WayUp and will be in charge of ideating, producing, and editing all video content. Additionally, you will be the “face of WayUp” on-camera toward our student audience.

This role is ideal for someone who loves creating compelling content, who has a BIG personality that they want to share, and is passionate about helping students and recent graduates. This position is also a great opportunity for someone who has ever considered a career in acting, broadcast journalism, or as a television host.

Your #1 responsibility is to create awesome video content for WayUp and this includes:

• Being on camera as the “face of WayUp”

• Ideating and presenting video pitches

• Organizing shoot schedules Filming, producing, and editing all shoots

• Meeting with companies to come up with scripts for video interviews

• Conduct on-camera interviews

• Animate and add graphics to videos

• Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or something similar)

• Experience creating videos

• Relatable and vibrant personality

• Excellent communicator with a great ability to go off-the-cuff

• Willing to get your hands dirty as a one-person team to create high quality content

• Finger on the pulse of popular culture and lifestyle
