    The Credit Risk Management organization at T-Mobile is not your typical financial services credit risk team. It is the team that disrupts and innovates in credit risk strategies in support of the UNCARRIER mission!!!

    In this role, you will manipulate very large data sets, provide findings on data context and quality, extract key insights from the data, and communicate actionable recommendations based on your insights. You will use innovative, clear, and concise visuals to communicate those insights effectively. You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and create requirements for new reports and dashboards. You will ensure that delivered reports meet the expectations outlined in the requirements and that ongoing reporting is produced accurately and on schedule.

    You will design and produce standard reports and dashboards, cubes, ad-hoc analysis, and various data visualization reporting solutions. You are responsible for gathering and documenting new reporting requirements and will produce report specifications. You will modify and enhance existing reports based on evolving business needs. You will validate and test reports to ensure accuracy and quality. You will participate in the design and development of business intelligence reporting tools. You will provide support and training to end-users.

    What you will do

    • Develop and produce standard reports and dashboards, cubes, ad-hoc analysis, and data extracts. Ensure delivery meets agreed-upon requirements.
    • Partner with customers and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to analyze and understand relevant data features and KPIs.
    • Gather data inputs from multiple sources. Automate data extracts and reporting refreshes. Ensure data and reporting integrity.
    • Manage day-to-day support issues, ensuring effective and timely resolution. Resolve and track user issues. Design, specify, test, and document modifications and functional enhancements.
    • Create and maintain operational requirements and standards documentation.
    • Deliver functional scope analysis and detailed solution design of the processes and reporting systems.
    • Foster relationships with key cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders. Establish strong partnerships to obtain desired results.
    • Support cross-functional partners to problem solve and implement solutions.
    • Assist with analysis, design, and testing of various enhancements and changes to data/reports.
    • Conduct troubleshooting for reporting anomalies and build safeguards for correct data in reporting.
    • Track and communicate project risks, team activities and project status to management and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in a quantitative field
    • In-depth, demonstrated SQL and/or SAS experience
    • Hands-on experience with reporting solutions such as Tableau, Power Bi, etc.
    • Experience with data preparation tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, etc.
    • Excellent visual skills and demonstrable design knowledge; expertise with charting and other data visualization techniques
    • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel and Visio
    • SharePoint site management experience a plus
    • Strong analytic skills
    • Ability to effectively troubleshoot data inaccuracies, identify root causes, and take corrective action
    • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the role requires effective communication with multiple organizations
    • Self-motivated, ability to prioritize work and multi-task across many assignments in a fast-paced work environment

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
    • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

    Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

    Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

    Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
