    This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company.     What It's Like

    The Technology Research and Analysis team is at the forefront of the new technology strategy development for T-Mobile, conducting researches on advanced and emerging technologies that have the potential to kindle innovations and set the foundations to ensure T-Mobile’s long term industry leadership position. You will be surrounded by seasoned industry veterans as well as bright young talents who are not only working on standardized technologies such as 5G Advanced and 6G, but also on emerging technologies that could change the landscape of the industry vertical.

    What You'll Do

    Investigation on 5G Advanced features and Proof of Concept trials on various innovations related to T-Mobile’s fixed wireless access (FWA) services

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support POC activities for Fixed Wireless Access
    • Assist 5G Advanced feature study
    • Perform data analysis for technology trial
    • SW tool development for in-house prototype development
    • Assist Ad-HOC technology development projects

    What It Takes

    • Ability to learn and gain understanding of T-Mobile’s network technology
    • General understanding of the communication theory
    • Basic understanding of EM theories
    • General knowledge of statistical data analysis
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Capability to adapt to dynamic working environment
    • Proficiency with MS Office tools
    • Programming experience on mobile devices a plus
    • Bachelors of Science in STEM fields required
    • Master's or PHD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering preferred
    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated in the last year
    • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

    Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

    Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location

    Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location
