    Join T-Mobile's Corporate Intellectual Property Department in Overland Park, Kansas, as a paid summer intern for an exceptional opportunity in intellectual property and wireless technology. As an intern, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting in T-Mobile's strategies to secure, protect, and license various forms of intellectual property. This internship offers a unique chance to gain valuable experience in patent prosecution, contributing to our innovative approach in the industry.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Dive into legal research, compose written documents, and assist in drafting correspondence vital to the Intellectual Property Department's operations.
    • Partner with internal clients to assess projects and products, identifying potential legal risks and their impacts, contributing to strategic decision-making.
    • Engage with the Legal Affairs team on diverse research endeavors. These projects cover a broad spectrum, spanning areas such as marketing practices, sales contracts, partnership agreements, intellectual property, human resources, and litigation.
    • Get hands-on experience in varied legal domains while contributing to real-world projects.

    What It Takes:

    • Currently enrolled as a paralegal student and pursuing paralegal degree or certificate
    • Excellent research and writing skills.
    • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovative work environment.
    • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
    • Interest and skills for learning about the law and wireless technology.
    • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong proven understanding of PC and Microsoft Office applications.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
    • Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
    • Intern wages range from $20/hr to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
    • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships
