    This is a 11-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company.     Summary

    As a Graduate Software Engineer Intern focused on Talent Acquisition AI at T-Mobile, you’ll have a unique opportunity to influence and drive change in our selection process by leveraging data-driven insights and recommending AI-based solutions. You will analyze recruitment data to uncover key areas for improvement and develop AI recommendations that could shape the future of T-Mobile’s recruiting practices. This hands-on experience will allow you to apply your technical skills to real-world challenges, helping optimize our recruitment process while building essential skills for your career in AI and Talent Acquisition

    Required Skills

    • Knowledge of data analysis, visualizations and organizing large datasets relevant to recruiting tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or similar, PowerBI, Tableau).
    • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, and robotic process automation (RPA).
    • Ability to recommend and implement automation
    • Knowledge of data privacy regulations, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling for trend analysis.
    • Experience with building statistical models that can identify trends
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills to work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and IT teams to understand business needs and technical requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in talent acquisition or human resources, ideally with exposure to tech-heavy environments.
    • Familiarity with HR analytics and its application in improving recruiting strategies.
    • Certifications in AI, data analytics, or HR technology tools would be a plus..
    • In-depth knowledge of HR tech ecosystems and how to integrate various tools (e.g., CRM, ATS, social recruiting platforms).
    • Ability to train the recruiting team on new tools and technology that can enhance performance.

    Ideal Candidate

    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, HR tech, or a related field. Prior experience in talent acquisition or TA/HR operations. tech tools preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Harvest and analyze recruitment data to uncover patterns and identify inefficiencies
    • Conduct research on the latest AI and HR technology trends
    • Identify and define key recruitment challenges where AI solutions can add value
    • Apply machine learning algorithms to support predictive analytics in recruitment
    • Identify, evaluate, and propose innovative solutions that can further optimize T-Mobile’s recruitment processes based on data driven insights

    Achievements by the End of Internship:

    • Ability to apply data science in recruitment
    • Through project-based learning, group sessions, and mentorship, the individual will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in Talent Acquisition AI
    • Define a problem statement and documented solution
    • Develop a final project that addresses a key talent acquisition challenge using AI.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
    • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

    Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

    Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

    Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
