Position will be filled by a professional candidate with strong work history, seeking a long-term career with opportunity for advancement. Scope of responsibility will expand beyond Accounts Payable as candidate masters tasks.

• Ensure payables are processed timely and coded accurately
• Manage email timely
• Prepare vendor reconciliations
• Assist in month-end close process including but not limited to expense accruals
• Manage AP inquiries effectively and timely
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency
• Ensure payments are made according to company policy
• Ensure accuracy of vendor payments, including setup and validation of vendor banking information
• Assist, as needed, with other duties to support the organization

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Accounting experience required
• Must understand Accounting terminology
• Must be able to use MS Excel effectively
• Must be motivated with a desire learn, grow and lead others
