  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrical Assembly Technician to perform complex electrical and structural assembly operations on aircraft systems. This role involves working with wire harnesses, connectors, fiber optics, and electrical components while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and FAA regulations.

    • Wire Routing & Installation: Route wire harnesses to supports based on blueprint instructions and Boeing specifications for the 787 program.
    • Electrical Component Assembly : Build connectors, splice, crimp, terminate wires, and install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.
    • Repair & Rework: Perform authorized repairs, modifications, and rework based on engineering instructions.
    • Fiber Optic Systems : Conduct fiber optic cleaning, inspection, light loss testing, routing, and installation.
    • Bond & Grounding: Install CRNs, jumpers, ground studs , and conduct resistance testing.
    • Quality Inspection : Ensure First Pass Quality (FPQ) and compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Regulatory Compliance : Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Quality Management System standards.
    • Safety & Environmental Standards: Work with chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, and special finishes.
    • Mechanical Lift Operation : Operate various lifts, including JLGs, Magic Carpets, and scissor lifts.
    • Work in High-Risk Environments : Perform tasks near energized electrical sources, circuit breakers, and wiring , with exposure to constant noise.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 7-10 years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
    • 7-10 years of experience in electrical assembly, electronic materials, and wire bundle installations.
    • Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.
    • Ability to identify and use common tools for electrical assembly and fabrication.
    • Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Strong communication skills, work ethic, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
