  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Inspect components for damage, verify configurations, and determine testing needs.
    • Conduct preliminary functional tests and record results to assess part capability.
    • Disassemble, clean, and inspect parts for damage, corrosion, and conformity to specifications.
    • Evaluate repair or overhaul cost-effectiveness and submit estimates.
    • Order, replace, repair, and reassemble components of basic to moderate complexity, such as brakes, wheels, actuators, and struts.
    • Apply coatings, conduct functional tests, and assemble components for production.
    • Complete required documentation and assist with metrology certifications if qualified.
    • Support engineers in developing improved aircraft components.
    • Perform machining tasks and, if qualified, act as Designated Inspector (DI).
    • Collaborate with team members within areas of expertise.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • You typically have at least 1 year experience or equivalent with inspecting, repairing, overhauling, and testing pneudraulic-mechanical components, and/or systems (preferred)
    • You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license (preferred)
    • You have 1 year of machining experience (preferred)
