OVERVIEW The Commercial Development Program (CDP) provides participants an opportunity to build foundational knowledge and learning in core technical aspects of commercial areas of the business. This experience will enable participants to build a base experience that prepares them to become leaders in ASR Group. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES The CDP last a total of three years with rotation through three functions of the company. Each rotation will last twelve months. Generally, the rotations will be in the following sequence but sequence and location may vary based upon business needs: 1. Finance 2. Global Sugars Group 3. Sales & Marketing or Corporate Development - The Finance rotation provides participants the opportunity to develop analytical skills through key learning focused on financial planning and analysis, accounting, auditing, forecasting, treasury/cash management, and commercial finance.

    • The Global Sugars Group rotation provides participants with experience in understanding commodity trading markets, and buying and selling commodities, including risk management. - The Sales & Marketing rotation provides participants with a variety of account management experiences designed to build expertise in managing ASR Groups relationships with customers. Participants will work on assignments such as developing understand of market trends, needs and structure, and conducting competitive analysis along product lines, along with gaining experience in selling products. - The Corporate Development rotation provides participants with experience in planning and execution of strategies entering/exiting certain markets, establishing relationships with strategic business partners, identifying and acquiring companies, securing financing, and divesting of assets or divisions. WORK EXPERIENCES - 2-4 years of work experience through internships, co-ops or full-time roles EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - MBA from a top-tier university. - GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 overall ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES) - Smart, strong analytical skills, accountable, flexible in approach, effective communicator, and results-driven business-person - Orientation towards a career in a commercial function LOCATION OF ROLE - Geographic mobility during the program - Assignments will be based in Yonkers, NY - ASR Group is an equal opportunity employer.
