Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled Assembly Mechanics to support 737 rework operations. This role involves assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and completing precision structural and system components. Candidates must be proficient in working from blueprints, technical documents, process specifications, and quality control requirements while ensuring compliance with established procedures.
* Assemble, install, and inspect structural and system components using blueprints, charts, sketches, and technical documents.
* Conduct functional tests to verify fit, form, and function.
* Utilize shop mathematics and precision measuring/testing instruments to complete work assignments.
* Ensure work meets engineering specifications and identify any discrepancies.
* Use appropriate tooling for sub-assemblies and end-item assembly.
* Maintain and certify tools and equipment per procedural guidelines.
* Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery (e.g., filter changes, lubrication checks).
* Move products within the immediate manufacturing area using assigned shop equipment.
* Support continuous production flow by assisting and training team members across all classification levels.
* Complete all tasks within scheduled timeframes.
* Assist in training personnel on assembly, installation, and inspection techniques.
* Cross-train in inspection processes and obtain **SIA qualification** as required.
