The Talent Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination of Talent initiatives for Carnival's fleet of 40,000 team members. This includes ensuring the proper materials, set-up and coordination for our Crew Training Centers, Employee Engagement activities and Performance Management. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who is eager to learn a variety of tasks related to Talent Development, Organizational Development and Learning. He/She is extremely detail oriented, accountable and a go-getter! * Manage monthly orders for all Training, Crew Activities and Engagement needs. Gather requests, purchase items, and coordinate delivery of order requests for fleet. Ensure all items are properly coded and charged. * Support the development, administration and reporting of the bi-annual Employee Engagement survey. Manage and confirm hierarchies, compile reporting, and support technical needs (password resets, general inquiries). Liaise with the Qualtrics technical support team on technical issues. * Support performance management & succession planning activities. Develop templates, manage, track and report on progress. Monitor process and recommend improvements. Run and analyze reports, making recommendations for next steps. * Support the Shipboard HR team with various coordination & administrative responsibilities. This will include, but not be limited to: ordering and delivery of HR team uniforms; managing the ordering for special projects such as new ship builds; providing back-up support for the Crew Assistance inbox; assisting with updating the design and copy of the Team Carnival Handbook. * Support Carnivals Learning & Development Team with the coordination and execution of training programs. This includes: support for occupational safety coordinating with ships/ trainer and organize Forklift, Cherry Picker, Genie, Dangerous Gas, Confined Space, and Pallet truck training; Star Center - Coordinating with Fleet Managers, participants and facility, and setup classes through the year; Regulatory certification records management and audit prep.; Trainer schedule maintenance and new trainer onboarding in partnership with the Fleet Managers. * Assist in the maintenance and update of the Shipboard HR intranet portal and the Shipboard Information Portal. * Draft employee and leader communications, posters and collateral used to support the awareness of various talent initiatives. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED

    • Bachelors Degree in HR or related field preferred. * 1-2 Years experience in a Human Resources or Administrative/Coordination role. * Highly organized, detail oriented, able to multitask with enthusiasm, proactive, able to work independently in a fast paced environment, strive to build strong business relationships, possess professional verbal and written English skills * Proficiency with MS Office, Advanced Excel; Able to coordinate and keep track of multiple activities at the same time without making errors; Able to work as part of a team; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Using initiative and independent judgment within established policy and procedural guidelines; Basic HTML knowledge is a plus. * It is important to note that this position requires substantial movement of packages for delivery to our fleet of 26 ships.
