Material Handler - Miami Gardens - Distribution Center Job Description The ideal Material Handler will be responsible for removing merchandise from the float and transporting items to designated area. Positions will require opening merchandise and performing inspections alongside disposing of all garbage, cardboards, plastics, and foams in the assigned tanks. Operative will be expected to inspect the Hdwrs in their lines assigned. Expectations include the capability to handle and prepare as necessary all merchandise that is scheduled to be shipped out. Location: 4200 NW 167th St Miami Gardens, FL 33054 Job Requirements QUALIFICATIONS .Able to lift 75 lbs, or more .Ability to use and work the scanner RTD . Able to work flexible hours EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION . High school diploma or GED . Will Train. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS . Basis knowledge of math LANGUAGE SKILLS .English or Spanish a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS . Able to move, pick or push large pieces . Healthy physical condition able to lift and move heavy merchandise . Walk long distances and stand for long periods of time WORK ENVIRONMENT .
