    Job Description

    The Advanced Production Assembler will perform specialized and prototype production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies using automated assembly systems. This role may also involve providing assembly operation guidance to other team members. The position requires experience in aircraft maintenance, systems installation, troubleshooting, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) maintenance.

    • Perform advanced, specialized, or prototype assembly operations on aircraft structural parts and mechanical subassemblies using automated systems.
    • Travel with aircraft throughout its build process, working on various assembly tasks as needed, based on the project requirements.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to other assemblers to ensure proper assembly operations.
    • Conduct removal and installation of components such as exterior panels, paint, sealant, and ti-foil.
    • Perform composite repair and maintenance tasks as required.
    • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, including power, hydraulics, and IFE (in-flight entertainment).
    • Conduct functional and operational tests to ensure systems and components are functioning as required.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality throughout all tasks.
    • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and be available for shift work, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, depending on business needs.
    • Successfully complete and pass all screening requirements before assignment.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 15-20 years of experience in advanced aerospace or aircraft assembly, maintenance, and repair.
    • Experience with aircraft systems, including power, hydraulics, IFE, and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of aircraft exterior panels, paint, sealant, and ti-foil installation.
    • Experience with composite repair techniques.
    • An A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license is preferred, though not required. However, candidates with relevant aviation industry experience without an A&P license will be considered.
    • Proficiency in aircraft maintenance, systems repair, and functional testing.
    • Ability to travel with aircraft throughout its build and be flexible with work assignments.
    • Ability to work in various positions, including standing, bending, climbing, and reaching.
    • Capable of lifting, carrying, and handling up to 35 pounds.
    • Ability to work in confined spaces and around energized equipment, following all required safety protocols.
