Job Description
Job Purpose : Provides contract management support and leadership to Smiths Detection Inc. (SDI) business on U.S. government contracts and some state, and/or local government contracts. This role reports to the Director of Government Contracts

Critical/Required Skills:
Understanding of FAR/DFARS and government unique requirements.
Proven record of judgment, discretion and reasoning, particularly as it pertains to balancing business needs and legal requirements and ethical/compliance obligations, and management escalation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and penchant for accuracy, timeliness and organization.
Problem-solving skills, program management, ability to drive contract negotiations to resolution while meeting business needs and protecting SDI.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
Ability to work effectively, independently and collaboratively with teams.
Demonstrated ability for continuous improvement and growth for yourself, of others, and for your employer.
Microsoft Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Strong Preferences : Capable of obtaining and maintaining a security clearance; and familiarity with Six Sigma
Salary range: __ $84,049 - $126,073 plus eligibility for bonus
Background:
This position may require Sensitive Security Information (SSI) access and vetting via the TSA. If required, applicant must successfully pass a federal background investigation.
This position may require a U.S. Personal Security Clearance.
