  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • LVMH has recently moved into a new Distribution center. This role will support the Engineering project team in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and helping to implement them.
    • Assist with researching systems such as conveyor control systems (WCS), and warehouse management systems (WMS)to analyze data and trends.
    • This role will include time in office as well as a significant amount of time in the Distribution Center reviewing processes.
    • This position is based in our Cranbury Distribution Center.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the ongoing implementation of the new DC:
      • Continuous Improvement:
        • Review processes in the Distribution center
        • Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity
        • Develop recommendations for improvement
        • Help ensure functionality is performing properly. Document and communicate results.
      • Training Development: Create user training documents to support training of associates and to document processes
      • Help implement new processes, product lines, system changes.
    • Track and provide updates on progress and timelines to project team regarding projects and initiatives
    • Conduct all other job-related activities.

    SUPERVISION RECEIVED

    Position will report to Senior Industrial Engineer

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Graduation date no sooner than December 2025.
    • Requires ability to stand for several hours as position will require time in the Distribution Center
    • Excellent PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
    • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Strong analytical, research, and related skills
    • Solid project, time, and self-management skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
    • Familiarity with logistics, supply chain or retail a plus
    • Ability to communicate and present across all levels of employees and management
    • Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
    • Requires ability to lift 30 pounds
    • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement
