Kennedy Int'l Airport ( JetBlue ) -Employment Status:Part-Time Regular -Position Expectations Position Summary This Crewmember works closely with the Supervisor and Manager, JBU Administration and Uniform Program to assist with store and order processing components of the JetBlue Airways Uniform Program. The Crewmember supports the store operation and acts as a representative of the JBU Uniform Program team. This Crewmember is responsible for all aspects of operating an efficient, service focused JBU uniform store and reports to the Supervisor, JBU Uniform Program. The JBU Uniform Store Associate is an effective communicator, is extremely detail orientated with strong organizational Customer service skills and enjoys interaction with Crewmembers from all work groups. The Uniform Store Associate is well versed at diffusing challenging Customer interactions and is focused on resolving any uniform related issues that arise. This Crewmember can anticipate and manage peoples expectations, knows how to prioritize their work, and is a resilient individual whose personal values match JetBlues values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun, and Passion. Essential Responsibilities Responsible for operating a point of sale system and closely managing inventory levels Assist store Customers (Crewmembers) with orders (selection, fit and measure, etc.) and updates to accounts including orders, returns, and exchanges Responsible for all New Hire fittings and entering all new hire orders upon receipt- in a timely manner. (Primarily OSC specific) Responsible for Uniform store administrative logistics, including but not limited to troubleshooting issues/exceptions, returns and exchanges as well as, completing administrative tasks (electronic data entry, faxing, copying, and filing) Support the Uniform Program team with centralizing processes, inventory and fulfilment systems Assist in monitoring reports received from our Business Partner to ensure information is accurate Support with protecting the integrity of our Brand as it relates to the uniform program. Merchandise and maintain inventory in attractive and functional displays and manage store inventory to minimize stock outs. Travels to other locations for fit sessions or tailoring needs based on needs of the business Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications High School diploma or GED One (1) years professional experience Available for occasional overnight travel (up to 25%) Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel & Word. Excellent Problem solving skills and ability to make decisions independently. Excellent customer service skills. Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Preferred Experience and Qualifications Bachelors Degree SAP Experience Experience in apparel and apparel fitting and measuring Retail experience Inventory Management experience (inventory stocking, cycle counts, etc.) Crewmember Expectations: Regular attendance and punctuality Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion Equipment: Computer and other office equipment Work Environment: Normal Office Environment Physical Effort: Ability to stand for long intervals.
