POSITION: PARTNERSHIP MARKETING & MEDIA SALES INTERN REPORTS TO: COORDINATOR, PARTNERSHIP MARKETING & MEDIA SALES HOURS: 20-29 HOURS PER WEEK, FLEXIBLETERM: SEPTEMBER 2018- JANURARY 2019 RESUME DEADLINE: JULY 30, 2018 OVERVIEW: The Partnership Marketing and Media Sales department is responsible for bringing in new sponsors and retaining current clients of the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment properties. This includes Pepsi Center, Dicks Sporting Goods Park, the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth, and the Colorado Rapids. The goal of this program is to teach students how to activate and maintain successful partnerships with corporate sponsors. This will be done through assisting in research, in-market and in-game promotions, special events, game day operations and outstanding client relationships. MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to work nights and weekends Manage various consumer giveaway/promotions Assist in planning, setting up & executing sponsor events Assist with activations during game nights Compile element books for Activation Team and Sales Directors to use when presenting to current and prospective sponsors Assist the Activation Team in creating end-of-season recaps and reports for clients Research prospective sponsorship clients PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Student in established major going into 3rd or 4th year of college education or recently graduated Able to work all assigned office hours and game nights Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Excel, Outlook Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple departments This description defines the type of work being performed by a person assigned to this position.
