Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or other related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university.
- Fundamental understanding of propulsion and vehicle system function and design.
- Hands-on automotive experience in propulsion systems NVH, in any of the following propulsion systems: conventional and Hybrid ICE, electric motors, gearboxes, power inverter modules and driveline (including axles, prop-shafts transfer cases etc.)
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated capability in effectively using NVH measurements and tools i.e., LMS Test.Lab, HEAD Acoustics Artemis, Rotec, Mueller BBM, Matlab, Simulink
- Proven record of demonstrating the ability to solve technical problems and address current issues in the field of Propulsion System NVH (conventional and Hybrid ICE, electric motors, gearboxes, and power inverter modules)
- Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (FFT) and ability to work with electronic control modules (ECMs) and the latest CAN communication protocols.
