Job: Ocean Export Agent – help to schedule and monitor ocean shipments!

Ocean Export involves transporting many different types of cargo throughout the world. It is a high paced environment with many learning and unique situations that come up along the way. it involves collaboration with commercial airline carriers, customs, and many other Government agencies. There is never a dull moment in ocean export!

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Ocean Export Agent

• Assist with bookings and dispatch
• File US Export Declarations and comply with all US regulations in regards to exports
• Interact with our customers in arranging their Ocean Export shipments, meeting customer service standards
• Establish Vendor Relations
• Procedure and Productivity Standards Adherence
• Assist in maintaining a strong forwarding-based clientele to ensure market

position / recognition while staying within the guidelines of the Ocean policies

Qualifications

Experience & Expectations

• Ability to work with deadlines and timed requirements.
• Multi-file handling, amazing with details, and sense of prioritization.
• Pro-active approach, strong organizational
• Take ownership of assigned work.
• Be a team player, help continue a positive work environment.
• Fluent in English- reading and writing.
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
