Job Description

Our Internship program offers a challenging hands-on structured experience. You will be working 100% in office side-by-side with Expeditors' employees learning the process, terminology, and skills required to be successful moving freight in a fast-paced work-environment where you will handle a variety of customers. Internships may be based in data evaluation and processing in an office setting.

It is not unusual for a successful Intern to come on board as a full time employee upon completion of the program.

Typical office duties and tasks: receiving, reviewing and uploading documents from customers and service providers, tracking shipments in online transportation portals and updating shipment records, formatting and analyzing data in a report and updating shipment records accordingly.

Qualifications

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. We are unable to accommodate relocation expenses or timelines and intend to hire someone now. This is not a summer internship.

• Must be able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and timeliness
• Willing to pitch in and help on last minute projects or assist team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
