Paraco is seeking loyal, responsible, dedicated, customer-oriented Class B CDL Drivers to join our team! Scope of the Role includes: Our drivers are some of the best in the business. As brand ambassadors to Paraco, we are looking for responsible, motivated drivers with clean and safe driving records that demonstrate stability and consistency. Our drivers are trained to run Bulk and BBQ / Forklift propane tank deliveries. They are dedicated professionals possessing a positive work ethic and exceptional communication skills, taking pride in what they do each and every day. Essential responsibilities will include: + Safe, punctual, consistent and reliable deliveries of bulk & cylinder tank propane to residential and commercial customers. + Participating in and completing all required industry compliance and company training. + Providing courteous and efficient customer service, reinforcing our commitment to service. + Ensuring that vehicle preventive maintenance schedules are being performed and adhered to as required. + Performing the necessary vehicle and trailer inspections as required. We're looking for the following abilities and skills: + A minimum of 1-year Class B CDL experience preferably in delivery of bulk propane, fuel oil or other hazardous materials. + A current, valid CDL License must contain valid Hazardous Materials (H) and Liquid Bulk /Tank Cargo (N) endorsements, or an (X) combination endorsement. + License may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) Restriction(s). + Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements including medical card. + Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions. + Mechanically inclined skills: + Experience with hand tools, power tools and test equipment. + Basic troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills. + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds at times throughout the day as well as bend, climb, reach, stoop & twist. + Clean and safe driving record. + Detailed work ethic, be enthusiastic, committed, proactive and resourceful; effectively gets the job done. + Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and thoughtful manner with customers and co-workers. + A passion for excellence with a customer service focus coupled with strong interpersonal skills. + Ability to work a shift of Tuesday to Saturday (Role requires some flexibility regarding overtime and on-call assignments as needed).
