Qualifications
** Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree, associate’s degree, paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or significant prior practical experience
- 3+ years of experience as a practicing paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing the functions of a real estate paralegal or substantially similar experience, preferably in a corporate real estate environment
- Experience in contract management/negotiation, document/knowledge management systems, and project management preferred
- Knowledge of legal principles and terminology, and legal research techniques
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Relevant computer knowledge and experience, with the ability to adapt to and embrace legal process optimization tools and technologies
- Fluent oral and written English required and fluency in additional languages an asset
Additional Information
A successful candidate must pass Expeditors’ pre-employment background check.
Expected base salary: $68,000 - $78,000
