    Job Description

    We're looking for a Project Manager to join the Connected Systems and Infrastructure group in our Connected & Intelligent Solutions Portfolio. We challenge what is possible through relentless improvement, partnering with our network to build world-class digital connections for Customers and Service Providers. The Connected Systems and Infrastructure Group is responsible for the backbone of systems that make these connections possible.

    Our Project Managers assume the role of Scrum Master for one or more Agile Development teams within the group, communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the Program Increment (PI), maintain and execute the PI plan, raise awareness, and mitigate risks. They direct the day-to-day activities of Analysts, Engineers, and Developers for the duration of the PI, work with other team leaders to ensure the success of the PI plan, and confirm that committed work is completed on schedule and that the flow of value is optimized for the agile teams they manage.

    • Coaches the team in adoption of SAFe/Agile core values, principles, and practices
    • Leads the team in self-organization to deliver quality working products with predictability, efficiency and velocity
    • Facilitates and conducts team SAFe ceremonies: daily stand-up, backlog grooming, iteration planning, iteration review and iteration retrospective
    • Provides metrics for the team (e.g. capacity, planned/actual velocity, story point burn down)
    • Removes impediments and provides visibility and/or escalation to leadership
    • Fosters a positive and productive environment within the Agile team
    • Monitors sprint/iteration work closely, proactively manages dependencies, and ensures committed work is delivered on time
    • Keeps team organized and focused
    • Promotes a mindset and focus on relentless & continuous improvement
    • Understands the context and status of each feature and story in the PI plan

    This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Ability to successfully navigate and execute within ambiguous and stressful situations
    • Strong communication and execution capabilities
    • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and activities, particularly Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
    • Continuous learner; receptive to feedback, with a desire for improvement
    • Experienced problem solver, strong collaborator, and able to provide organization and clarity around complex topics
    • Assertive personality, interpersonal, action and outcome driven mentality
    • Ability to actively inspire, coach, mentor, and motivate
    • Well-organized with a keen attention to detail

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1-3+ years of experience in related field (i.e., project management, software development, IS or Agile leadership, etc.)
    • 1-3+ years Project Management or Scrum Master experience
    • SAFe Scrum Master certification or similar
    • Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams to deliver results with tight deadlines
    • Experience working with software development teams and/or projects
    • Understanding of the transportation/logistics industry

    Additional Information

    Expected base salary: $80,000 to $125,000
