    Join the growing exp.o Ocean team designing a new application to serve our internal customers. You will help chart the course forward, including choosing the technologies and helping to make the solutions scalable. This project is high-visibility. Collaboration is a must in this role.

    As the Scrum Master for exp.o Ocean you will work a highly collaborative team that is working to . The team works closely with our system users and business subject-matter experts to leverage cutting-edge technologies to support the best customer service in the industry. The exp.o Order Management application is attempting keep up with the everchanging market and scale our application to meet the needs of the future.

    In this role you will work with a team that value speed and quality, with a strong desire to drive change and foster a positive work environment. Your work will include coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and facilitating team delivery. Perhaps most importantly, you will use your Agile capabilities and growth mindset to help empower, energize, and motivate the teams you support. You will work closely with your team and peers to support PI, sprint, and release planning, foster team self-awareness, encourage cross-training, decision-making and continuous improvement. While supporting the team to raise awareness of dependencies and mitigate risks as they arise.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coaches the team in adoption of SAFe/Agile core values, principles, and practices
    • Leads the team in self-organization to deliver quality working software with predictability, efficiency and velocity
    • Facilitates and conducts team SAFe ceremonies: daily stand-up, iteration planning, iteration review and iteration retrospective
    • Provides metrics for the team & ART (e.g. capacity, planned/actual velocity, story point burn down)
    • Removes impediments and provides visibility and/or escalation to leadership
    • Fosters a positive and productive environment within the Agile team
    • Monitors sprint/iteration work closely, proactively manages dependencies, and ensures committed work is delivered on time
    • Keeps team organized and focused
    • Promotes a mindset and focus on relentless & continuous improvement
    • Understands the context and status of each feature and story in the PI plan
    • Collaborates with the RTE in administering PI planning

    This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and activities, particularly Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
    • Continuous learner; receptive to feedback, with a desire for improvement
    • Experienced problem solver, strong collaborator, and able to provide organization and clarity around complex topics
    • Assertive personality, interpersonal, action and outcome driven mentality
    • Ability to actively inspire, coach, mentor, and motivate
    • Well organized with a keen attention to detail
    • Ability to successfully navigate and execute within ambiguous and stressful situations
    • Strong communication and execution capabilities

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-5+ years of experience in related field (i.e., project management, software development, IS or Agile leadership, etc.)
    • 3+ years Project Management or Scrum Master experience
    • SAFe Scrum Master certification or similar
    • Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams to deliver results with tight deadline
    • Understanding of the transportation/logistics industry

    Additional Information

    Expected base salary: $90,000 to $140,000
