Previous experience within the logistics field or equivalent training of 2 years
Associates or Bachelors Degree
Solid oral and written communication skills
Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use, and maintaining an excellent working relationship with your customers. ****
Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards, to complete timely, accurate and compliant documentation, customer billings and system updates accordingly.
Service Provider Relationships: As a Transcon Agent you will build strong partnerships with multiple Service Providers ensuring your clients is serviced to a high level, you will ensure accurate and timely invoicing for your service providers.
