Work is performed under the general supervision of a shift supervisor. Incumbents at this level are not supervisors, however they have attained a Domestic Wastewater Class A License. Assigned duties and responsibilities will be the similar as those performed by Class B operators. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gage readings. Provides routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of water reclamation facilities Makes adjustments to the treatment processes, as required, to effectively treat and deliver effluent in compliance with all rules, regulations and the facility's standard operating procedures. Compiles data for chemical use and keeps records on equipment and water plant operations.
