Major Projects Team A Real Estate Representative independently manages real estate activities on the most complex company-generated projects, including acquisition, management and disposal of right-of-way and real property. This position uses public and company records to research and determine ownership, operating rights, and other real property issues. An important aspect of this role is managing and directing contractors and consultants during the acquisition of property rights for large scale capital projects. This position also requires demonstrated knowledge and skill of the preparation and review of legal descriptions, appraisal reports, correspondence and complex real estate documents (i.e. easements, deeds, leases, permits, consent agreements, etc.). The ideal candidate negotiates, obtains, interprets and defends PSEs operating rights on public/private property and company fee-owned property. Right-of-Way Team A Real Estate Representative independently manages real estate activities on all but the most complex company-generated and New Customer Construction (NCC) projects. This person uses public and company records to research and determine ownership, operating rights, and other real property issues. They prepare legal descriptions and appraisal reports. They also prepare correspondence and advanced real estate documents (i.e. easements, deeds, permits, consent agreements, etc.). This person negotiates, obtains, interprets and defends PSEs operating rights on public/private property. They also respond to internal and external customers regarding any real estate issues. Property Management Team A Real Estate Representative independently manages real estate activities on the most complex company-generated and customer projects, including management, acquisition, and disposal of real property and rights-of-way. This position uses public and company records to research and determine ownership, operating rights, and other real property issues. An important aspect of this role is managing fee-owned properties, the preparation of legal descriptions, appraisal reports, correspondence and complex real estate documents (i.e. deeds, leases, permits, easements, consent agreements, etc.). The ideal candidate communicates, negotiates, obtains, interprets and defends PSEs operating rights on company fee-owned property and public/private property. At the discretion of the hiring team, this role may be filled at the Senior Real Estate Rep, Real Estate Rep, or Associate Real Estate Rep level, depending on the qualifications of the applicant.
