Use of technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments
Production of a range of engineering deliverables (including more complex tasks) with some guidance and direction from more senior engineers
Evaluation, selection, and adaptation of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks
Ability to work unsupervised on most aspects of work
Development and review of designs, drawings, and other engineering deliverables involving both existing and new technology and applications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
Bachelor's Degree (minimum) or Master's Degree (preferred) in Civil / Structural Engineering discipline
Working knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and standards (API RP 2A, AISC, ISO, etc)
Increasing proficiency with industry software (SACS, SESAM, ANSYS, MathCAD, etc)
Able to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to the assignment / task
Able to create functional and cost effective designs that meet project requirements with some support
Able to analyze and interpret structural drawings
Proactively communicates across work groups to resolve barriers and applies sound technical skills
Conducts work in a professional manner
Good interpersonal and team working skills, builds positive relationships
Good verbal and written communication skills
