Job Summary (Purpose): The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting for the assigned region or business unit. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter partners with the Region Human Resource Manager and field operations to recruit and select talent according to established competencies and protocols. Key Characteristics: Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment and selection, as well as knowledge of employment, EEO/Affirmative action program guidelines and applicable laws. Communicates well with others both inside and outside the human resource department while maintaining integrity of all confidential information. Possesses professional skills to work with field managers and executives routinely. Duties and Responsibilities: Will implement and execute recruiting plans in coordination with hiring managers and will conduct regular follow up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans. Implement and execute recruiting program focused on diversity and inclusion. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive recruiting and develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Aid in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally while networking through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and social media. Develop working relationships within colleges, trade schools and other organizations to aid in recruiting. Attend career fairs as appropriate. Prescreen applicant resumes in the Applicant Tracking System, coordinate and schedule interviews, conduct phone and in person interviews, assist in selections and creation of offers, and in dispositioning of candidates. Assist in the review and adjudication of background checks and resolution of issues with the vendor. Assist applicants and hiring managers with questions related to the applicant tracking system. Orient new managers on the recruitment and hiring process. Perform other special projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills. General knowledge of various employment laws and practices. Ability to work with various levels of management and foster teamwork. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to collect and interpret data-based measurements to demonstrate the effectiveness or failure of the recruitment system from position opening to onboarding. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, school visits or career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully. Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative. Education and Experience Required : Bachelor degree or equivalent experience At least (2) years related experience.
