Same Mission About the role: The GBS IT team is looking for a Kronos Developer to play a key role on the Kronos Product Team. They will collaborate with the entire Product Team to deliver updates and changes that drive business value. The work will be primarily driven by Business Opportunities and Acquisitions. Kronos is a vital tool at Boston Scientific used to track time & attendance, drive payroll and provide the data needed for workforce labor management across 14 different sites in 7 different countries. Furthermore, they will: - Design and deliver innovative, creative solutions - Track progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables while managing risks and issues - Provide updates to management and all stakeholders of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings - Be Subject Matter Expert in Kronos and the way Boston Scientific is using Kronos - Continue to learn the ways and means of how the Kronos system can be used and leveraged to support the companys success and overall goals Your responsibilities - Work closely with Product Owner and Customers to collaboratively define requirements driving a complete understanding of the changes - Configure and test all aspects of the Kronos workflow including but not limited to labor levels, pay policy groups, pay codes, exceptions, overtime, shifts, holidays, work rules, and accruals - Configure Kronos Clocks (4500 & Intouch) - Build WIM interfaces - Provide estimates for future changes - Design cost effective solutions - Manage and share technical knowledge, publishing technical documentation - Assisting with support-related activities by digging into or triage reported issues to better understand and facilitate issue resolution - Assist other team members to further troubleshoot and analyze technical issues - Work closely with Vendors holding them accountable for their work - Be aware of and comply with BSC policies - Work with other internal cross-functional application developers to ensure continued compatibility between Kronos and other applications. - Create and troubleshoot hyper-find queries, genies and reports. What we're looking for: Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - A minimum of 3-5 years of enterprise Kronos configuration development on V7 or higher with a medium to large size client - Experience partnering with IT, Vendor and/or Business Customers on projects - Strong understanding of Kronos architecture. - Proficient with Kronos Workforce Timekeeper version 8.x and working knowledge of such items as access profiles, display profiles, organizational mapping, pay rues & work rules. - Experience creating\supporting Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) interfaces. - Knowledge of Kronos Clock configuration and maintenance - Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across the globe - Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic and fast learner - Proven ability to navigate organizational network to get to the right person - Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends - Being imaginative & having high creative quotient - Creative thinker to look for continued ways to utilize and optimize capabilities of the system. - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - Understanding of Sox and other Management Controls Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Product Teams and SCRUM methodologies - Strong understanding of Workforce Absence Manager and configuration - Test development and execution - Experience working on large scale projects - Experience working on solutions in a controlled environment - Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies - Experience with SQL - Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Kronos training\certifications are a plus About us As a global medical technology leader for more than 35 years, our mission at Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX) is to transform lives through innovative medical solutions that improve the health of patients.
