    _ Overview _

    The Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer is a critical component of the 10ZiG R&D (Research & Development) team. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining the automated test cases for 10ZiG’s product offerings, including, but not limited to, Linux firmware and the 10ZiG Manager software suite. They will also be responsible for performing manual quality assurance testing of 10ZiG’s product offerings, where required. They will provide status updates and test results to the QA Manager in a timely manner and in the proper format. The QA Automation Engineer should be extremely well organized and able to work with a high-performing team, which operates in a fast-paced and changing environment. The QA Automation Engineer’s primary responsibility will be creating and maintaining automated test cases for 10ZiG’s product offerings but will still be required to perform manual test cases during release cycles or where automation cannot be done.

    The QA Automation Engineer will report directly to the QA Manager.

    Knowledge, Education and Experience

    • Requires either associate or bachelor's degree or an equivalent professional qualification.

    • Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu preferred) and Windows.

    • 2+ years using Cypress Studio with JavaScript (or similar).

    • 2+ years of working within a fast-paced environment.

    • Working knowledge of GitHub.

    • Working knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, Cloud, VPN).

    • Working knowledge of computer hardware and associated peripherals.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

    • Strong critical thinking and multi-tasking abilities are a must!

    Nice To Have

    • Working knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure concepts in VMware, Citrix, Microsoft RDS. Windows Virtual Desktop, Amazon Workspaces.

    • Familiarity with Jira.

    • Linux BASH scripting experience.

    • Knowledge of Cypress integration into Jenkins.

    • Sorry Cypress dashboard experience.

    Duties and Tasks

    • Build and maintain the QA Automation project.

    • Ensure automated test cases are created with redundancies / multiple validation points.

    • Execute manual test plans for every major release based on the latest features and changes.

    • Submit bugs and feedback with steps to replicate for review by the QA Manager.

    • Work with the R&D Team and QA Manager to find and solve specific issues/bugs, including manual regression testing.

    • Ensure all required/assigned testing is complete during the release cycles. Including but not limited to: Critical Tests, Full Product Tests, Display Tests, Vulnerability Scans, and upgrade/update paths.

    • Ensure Addon tests are completed, and all relevant parties are notified upon completion for next steps and handoff.

    Job Type: Full-time, Location: Hybrid, with commutable distance to 10ZiG Phoenix Office (1-2 days WFH). Full-time in-office during initial 90-day probationary period.
