We're looking for someone who can onboard quick as we will have a client starting in the near future. These are 12 hour shifts in St. Paul, we will have both day and nights available. We're looking for someone who's open and comfortable with all hands-on cares as well as someone who is familiar with transfers. This client is a double amputee. Role Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
Requirements:
A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
