Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of 12V electronic systems, including but not limited to: • Car audio systems (speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, DSPs, etc.). • Vehicle security and remote start systems. • Lighting solutions (LEDs, underglow, and interior/exterior accents). • Backup cameras, parking sensors, and dash cams. • GPS, navigation, and Bluetooth integration. • Power accessories (winches, auxiliary power systems, etc.). • Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to 12V installations. • Fabricate and install custom brackets, panels, and enclosures as needed. • Ensure all installations meet high standards of quality and safety. • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure proper use of tools and equipment. • Assist customers and collaborate with the sales team to recommend products and solutions. Qualifications: Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn: • Demonstrate a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills in the car audio and mobile electronics industry. Reliable Transportation: • Have reliable transportation to and from work, as well as the flexibility to perform jobs off-site as needed. Ownership of Necessary Tools: • Own or be willing to purchase necessary tools for the trade, ensuring you have the equipment needed to perform installations effectively. Basic Mechanical Knowledge: • Possess basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles and an understanding of vehicle systems and components. Basic Computer Skills: • Have basic computer skills necessary for accessing information, communicating with team members, and utilizing software applications as required. Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills: • Exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills, ensuring a positive interaction with customers and colleagues. Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) Certification: • Commit to completing at least the "beginner-level" Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) certification program, which will be paid for by CarTronics. This certification will provide you with essential knowledge about core product categories and principles in the mobile electronics industry. By meeting these qualifications, you will be well-equipped to excel in the role of a Car Audio/Mobile Electronics Technician at CarTronics, contributing to the success and reputation of the company. Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 yearly
