  • Responsibilities

    MUST LIVE WITHIN 40 MILES OF SALINA, KS

    *  **Weekly Minimum:** $1,350 (must work the full work week to receive the guaranteed weekly minimum pay; will not receive the guaranteed minimum if taking sick and/or vacation days)  
    
    *  **Annual Average:** $70,200 starting  
    
    *  **Bonus:**
      *  **New Hire Transition Bonus:** $500 – Paid in full on the second paycheck  
    
      *  **Referral Bonus:** $3,000 – Paid out at $1,000 on the second paycheck, $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at 120 days  
    
    *  **Accessorial Pay:**
      *  **Stop Pay:** Stops 1-3 $17, 4+ stops $22  
    
      *  **Delay Pay:** $17.00/hour  
    
    • Home Time: Driver should expect 2 layovers/week, otherwise home daily

    • Equipment: 2020 and newer sleepers and straight trucks

    • Lane Info: * Lanes: NE, KS, MO, CO, OK, IA

    *  **Miles:** 2,425 – 2,561 miles/week – 35 stops  
    
    *  **Schedule:**
      *  **Varies:** Monday – Friday, so drivers must be flexible  
    
      *  **Day Route:** 10:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 5:00 PM. These are all layover routes, so drivers will be out two nights per week. Nights out will vary.  
    
      *  **Night Route:** Typically leaves out at 10:00 PM and returns the following morning  
    
      *  **Drivers will not run day routes right after running a night route**  
    
    *  **Truck Speed:** 65 pedal and cruise  
    
    • Running Area Region: NE, KS, MO, CO, OK, IA

    • Hiring Area: 50-mile radius of Salina, KS

    Freight Types:

    • Driver will unload at Advanced and Car Quest stores using an electric pallet jack. Will have returns if needed.

    Requirements:

    • 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience

    • Hazmat endorsement

    • Must be comfortable with driving at night

    • Required to work the full work week to receive the guaranteed weekly minimum pay (will not receive the guaranteed minimum if taking sick and/or vacation days)
