Job Description

We’re a growing South Tampa accounting firm and are seeking experienced accounting managers to grow along with us.  We’re seeking CPAs with either Accounting Services or Tax experience to supervise and review the work of seniors and staff, prepare financial statements/tax returns, meet with clients regarding their needs, and manage internal resources within the firm.

Ideal candidates have a great personality…also must be compatible with ex-Big 4 alumni who have found a home at our boutique firm.  Our office is laid-back, but serious about producing high quality products and excellent service to our clients!

These positions are full time with additional hours required during peak times such as year end and tax season.

Desired Qualifications:

·        Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or tax preparation

·        Bachelor's degree in accounting

·        CPA required

·        A combination of public and private accounting/tax experience preferred

·        Management experience – will be expected to manage, supervise, and assist staff accountants with their duties

·        Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

·        Self-starter – candidate is expected to serve as the main point of contact with clients and maintain a solid client relationship without direct supervision

·        Highly organized - candidate is expected to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines

·        Must be detail oriented and analytical

·        Must have the ability to multi-task and function effectively in a fast-paced environment

·        Primary office location will be our firm office located in south Tampa, with travel to various client locations within the Tampa Bay area, as needed
