Summer camp is a place where you know you belong. Where it’s safe to try to new things, to talk to new people, and to be yourself. It’s not just campfires and rock climbing. It’s self confidence, self-determination, and fun. Our staff make this happen everyday, not just for our campers, but for themselves. In any given day our staff:
This role is more about intent than skills. We provide extensive training in skills such as childcare, behavior management, conflict resolution, self-regulation, and risk management. We also provide certification in lifeguarding, kayaking and canoeing, CHA, ropes course and rock climbing, Youth Mental Health First Aid (for some positions) and CPR/FA/AED.
What matters more than any background you have in these areas is your desire to work with our campers. Do you want to support a place that builds courage, confidence and character in our campers and staff? Do you have a good attitude? Do you like to solve problems? Are you flexible? Join us! We'll take it from there.
Camp staff must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to pass a criminal background check. We are unable to sponsor visas.
