    **** Ignite Achievement Academy is an accredited K-12 private school with two campuses in Charlotte, NC dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences for students with special needs. We combine small class sizes with individualized academic plans, along with integrated applied learning, to ensure each child receives the care and instruction they need to thrive. Students engage in music, art, cooking, shop, gardening, and more as they work on life skills, social skills, and collaborate to reach their goals.

    Position Overview: We are searching for additional Speech Language Pathologists to join our growing team at both of our school campuses. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders, collaborating with teachers and other professionals, and implementing strategies to support students' communication needs.

    Positions are available at both our North and South Charlotte Campuses for the 2025-26 school year!
    - North Campus: 3835 W WT Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28269
    - South Campus: 6203 Carmel Rd. Charlotte, NC 28226

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
    • Developing and implementing individualized learning plans
    • Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
    • Monitoring and documenting students' progress
    • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs
    • Co-teach with classroom teachers, as appropriate, to support students within the classroom
    • Providing consultation and training to school staff and parents
    • Keeping abreast of current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Experience working with students with special needs
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to professional growth and development
    • Ability to pass a background check

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
