At Cooper Tacia, we believe in breaking the “typical” mold of internship programs. You will actively participate in every stage of the construction process by working alongside our Preconstruction Team and Project Managers. From planning to bidding to execution, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions at all stages of the construction process and gain invaluable experience in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Be an essential part of the Cooper Tacia team by working and learning alongside established industry professionals in preconstruction, project management, and field operations, gaining hands-on experience at every stage of the construction process.
Tackle the world of project bidding and estimating by helping our preconstruction team with analyzing plans and contributing to real-world strategies that will help us win projects.
Partner with project managers to gain real world experience in the planning and execution of plans, from scheduling and budgeting to overseeing the final touches that bring a project to life.
Requirements:
3.0 GPA Minimum
Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering degree program
Exceptional written, verbal, and technological communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Outstanding planning and multitasking skills
Strong computer skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam
Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow
Local to the Atlanta area
Employment Type: Internship; Full- time Salary: 16.00 – 20.00 per hour
