The Content Coordinator will be responsible for capturing and helping to create content for Jiminy’s social channels and jiminypeak.com. This person will be responsible for capturing video as well as still photography. This content will be fed to our Marketing team for distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create content that is consistent with Jiminy’s brand story and maintain a brand message that will connect with current and potential customers
- Responsible for daily photography and/or video
- Create and maintain a library of video content and photography for Jiminy Peak
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Skills and Specifications
- Customer serviced oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism in person, by email, and by phone
- Strong ability to clearly and effectively create and deliver content to intended audience, with both oral and written communication
- Ability to remain organized and meet deadlines. Time management is essential.
- Ability to film, speak on camera, interview, and use editing software.
- Computer proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, Outlook)
- video editing software (Avid Pinnacle, VideoPad Video Editor, other equivalents)
- Sound understanding of marketing principles with ability to identify how to apply them to resort atmosphere
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Able to work both weekends and holidays.
- Must provide samples of video work
- Must be able to ski or snowboard
- Preference for person to have video equipment but can discuss if that is not the case.
