Job Description
KIPP New Orleans Schools is seeking dedicated and reliable Hourly Substitute Teachers to provide high-quality instruction and maintain an engaging learning environment when full-time teachers are unavailable. Substitutes play a critical role in ensuring continuity of learning by implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting students' academic and personal growth.

Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage a classroom effectively; adaptability to different instructional settings.
Successful completion of State and Federal Criminal Background Check - All offers are considered pending until the successful completion of a professional reference check and a state/federal background check.

Additional Information
This is an hourly role at $15.00 an hour.
